WHAT IS PRE-DESIGN OPTIMISATION?

Whether you’re designing a completely new website or redesigning an existing one, the primary goal is to make it convert. Sure, other things such as brand alignment, integration capabilities, and new functionality are super important; however, the primary driver should always be to increase conversions and revenue.

OUR PRE-DESIGN OPTIMISATION PROCESS.

When it comes to designing a web front-end experience, one of two approaches is usually taken. Designers either focus on creating an eye-catching design, or developing a site which functions in an overly logical (read: robotic) way. Many of these sites will look good and invite compliments; however, all is not as it seems.

Time and time again, we come across attractive-looking sites that don’t convert. Unsurprisingly, many process-driven sites don’t either. So what’s the solution?

At Growth Affect CRO, we employ a data-driven design process which increases conversions and lowers the Total Cost of Development (TCD). It’s called Pre-Design Optimisation and focuses on identifying and validating the most effective design – based on hard data.

1. DATA DRIVEN RESEARCH

Identifying true conversion issues requires focus on three key areas; review of technical & system performance, audience identification, and user journey mapping through quantitative analysis. Once we have identified where different users are falling out of the funnel, we then identify why, through qualitative research

2. SOLUTIONS AND STRATEGY

Strategic thinking involves building solutions to identified problems uncovered through the research phase. Developing solutions is done through internal differential workshops lead by Growth Affect CRO dedicated CRO Strategist team who have experience in running over 4000+ tests.

3. UX PROTOTYPING

There are many types of prototyping, with the best route to success being one which uses a combination of different methods. Growth Affect CRO’ UX Prototyping process involves low fidelity wireframes, high fidelity wireframes and an interactive prototype of the design. The final prototype is tested through Usability Studies pre and post launch of the website to evaluate the ease of use.

4. IMPLEMENTATION

Growth Affect CRO have a multi-disciplinary optimisation team who can help you through the implementation process of your new website.
